Evening All,

Well had two surprises tonight, first one being the Lancashire Telegraph ringing me asking if they could come down and take some more pictures for another article (starting to become famous now) so it was a quick dash around with the hoover as the layout can get quite dirty quickly. Rob the photographer turned up armed with all sorts of camera gear and gizmos and took some really good looking photographs of the all the group doing their bit to the layout and some stills of the features on the layout.

Will hopefully have the article and pictures on here next week :)

The second surprise of the night was a nice gentleman called John Holt who travelled from Whalley but grew up in Edenfield. He wanted some advice on starting a layout to do with the electric side of thinks…cue Keith “Mr Electronics” Cragg. He really knows what hes talking about when it comes down to this side of things….He said he was interested in become part of the team so hopefully we will see him again.

Almost a full turn out this week with the exception  of Roger.

Ive decided to refreshen some of the roofs on the houses that back onto the Accrington line on Stubbins Street. These are originally card kits but with 30years worth of damp and dust have taken their toll on them, so hopefully i can breathe some new life into them.

Alan has been repairing the chimney breasts that were on the houses on Stubbins Street for me so hopefully these should be ready by next week.

Keith has been repaving or recobbling should i say the warehouse road yard on the down line of Ramsbottom Station.

And least but not least….Alex has……been running trains….guess someone has to lol
