Hello people,

Sorry for the lack of updates but ive not recently been able to attend due to working in different area’s in the North West. Anyway back to the club…

• Last week Alex and Alan decided to have a running session which included Alex trying some shunting movements.
• Keith and Peter last week have started to make another section to the Bacup Branch which will see the total sections come to 3 at the moment.
• Last week saw a new member arrive called David, who has recently moved into the area from Yorkshire.

Now for this week…

• Only 3 members this week Me, Alan and David with Keith being on holiday in Budapest, Alex ill with manflu and Peter proberbly having a deserved rest :)
• Since the layout was moved back, it has become clear that a proper permanent fixture for the sockets was required to this week I have made a new base with 3x  new Metal Clad Double Sockets which have been wired in LSF 2.5mm cable.
• Whilst we are on with some new sockets the rest of the 230v supply sockets will also be replaced in the next month or so.
• Tonight was mostly spent running trains and giving David a turn on the layout to show him how its done in Ramsbottom.
• Also tonight the two sections of the Bacup boards were bolted together using nut and bolts.

I wont be here next week due to working away in Norwich on nights but will try and get an update off Alex.
